This isn’t going to end soon or quietly.

This is Anarchism, not Fascism.

. As the mayor said, ‘it's going to be a summer of love.’ That's what I hope it is, but it's the summer of struggle. It's the summer of education,”

The Charles Manson commune, Jim Jones in Guyana or David Koresh in Waco?
This old hippie should have joined one of them communes of free love in the 60’s.

I have looked at the “people” that are hanging out in CHOP. They are not society’s success stories....

How can he advise protesters of their rights, when they are claiming they are no longer subject to U.S. law? What about the rights of those who were told there homes and businesses are now outside of U.S. law, without their consent?

This is the same nonsense that sovereign citizens try to pull. Both claim they don't have to follow U.S. law and are above it, while everyone has to follow U.S. law and their own made up laws.

Remember when we put a sheet over a table to make a fort? My 6 year old grandson has transformed the formal dining room into his autonomous zone. These folks remind me of children.

What or Who is the CHOP General Assembly?

Where does their authority come from?

>>“I talked to the General Assembly, we met and got the approval to get a CHOP legal table set up in the area. We’re trying to recapture the soul of America. And I think it’s important because we’re creating institutions of popular power. Like, for instance, the CHOP Legal, like the General Assemblies. We have breakout groups every day that are discussing how do we want to go about educating our youth,” he said.

Tell him you are a disenfranchised voter who’s elected leadership has been cast out of power by hijackers with guns who burned down government buildings.

Do any of the “citizens” of CHOP have a real job aside from being Protesters?

... Withey has been at the forefront of all major Seattle protests since the ’70s, including the 1999 WTO protest, the 1972 Beacon Hill school occupation and more.

So Michael Withey has been at these riots (as a leader?) since the early 70’s? And how old is he?

OTOH, I think that we may have identified part of the problem in Seattle.
