The thing is, USC isn’t that hard to get in to.

My guess they were terrible parents, the kid never studied, if she went to school at all (instead focusing on her social-media influencing) and did terrible on the SAT, thus making even USC hard to get into….

And the other thing is, if your mommy can drop half a mil to get you in, you don’t need college. Geez.

It is if you're white and have mediocre grades right?

It is when you’re family is full of morons. What cracks me up is that there’s a thousand and one forms of legal bribery. All Lori had to do was donate that half-million directly to the university, which happens all the time and is as legal as buying your brother a soft drink. She’s as dumb as her daughters. If she had donated to the school’s gift-fund (honorarium or whatever that school calls it), her daughters would’ve got in ahead of the valedictorian from Nebraska that built a laser-seismograph system for a science project that went to nationals.

That was then. This is now. In 2018, they accepted 1 out of every 6 applicants.

Of course, this will trigger the usual jokes. I understand selling your soul to the devil to get into Harvard. But USC?

SC has a lower acceptance rate than UCLA does.

“The thing is, USC isn’t that hard to get in to.”

It probably is if you didn’t bother to learn anything K-12.
