Yet it is demonstrably true that those black parents of 1950 produced far better children than black parents of 2000. It is also true that rarely did the peak of racial violence perpetrated by whites in the first half of the twentieth century exceed the daily prosaic violence of urban blacks today perpetrated against themselves.
You can cherry pick any stat to show whatever trend you want. Many upward trends are simply the result of technology. Having a smartphone doesn’t matter so much when your family is being randomly gunned down by drive by shooters.
