You’re assuming he actually scored high enough on the ASVAB to get inducted.
He missed 3 shots from 30 yards.
That is quite an accomplishment.
I’d suggest he put the ARs down and go with indirect fire. Maybe a homemade mortar or a shotgun.
I’m 59 and with imperfect vision can still hit the damn targets out to 450.
