US Gov. should start condemnation action to take the surrounding land around the courthouse, including the sidewalks/walkways that have been fenced in, for emergency security reasons.
Interestingly we ran across a couple from Oregon today passing through our state, so I asked them about Portland.
She got real nervous and antsy, and started complaining about federal soldiers in Portland and how neither the mayor or governor want them there. I said soldiers, are you sure? She said, oh yes, soldiers. I got firm with her, said no there are none, that federal police officers are there. Then she agreed.
Then this lefty whack job said there are nothing but peaceful protests, and maybe a few might be rioting, but it’s rare and there is that kind in every crowd.
I said we were Trump supporters and just walked off.
She knew she was lying about the soldiers, but had to parrot the talking points just the same. I suspect she knew she was lying about the rioting.
I heard report on ABC today that VP Pence was the one that made the decision to withdraw. I thought that odd since the President said otherwise, but surmised it was just more of his administration going against Trump.
