Good song. Check out Mike Love on the right doing his Rutherford B. Hayes imitation. Or the old man neighbor on Home Alone.

This song is a cover of a 1966 song by the Ronettes. It is interesting in that Carl was the lead singer and producer here, basically filling in for Brian who had sunk into psychiatric illness.

Thanks for posting. Haven’t heard that in years. I grew up with the Beach Boys in Ithaca, NY and later at the University of Missouri. In 1969 or 1970, I was on the concert committee at the university and picked a couple of the members of the BB at the Columbia - Jefferson City airport and drove them to Columbia. I just remember they were dead tired and didn’t want to talk. I can’t even remember who I had in my car. They delivered a great show at the old Brewer Field House (an ancient and decrepit facility even then).

The BBs cut ICHM during their '68-'69 blue eyed soul phase.

I was at a BB concert at a local amusement park in 1967, dancing with four beautiful girls (that’s how I remember it), and one of the BB’s (don’t remember which one) was so drunk he fell off the stage and almost landed on me. He just hopped up and kept playing like nothing happened. Great times. I wonder to this day what happened to those girls. Dated one of them for about a year, then she married some schmuck.

Carl was always noted as a super nice guy, and he certainly had the voice of an angel.
