LOL! Thanks for posting. David Knight does a lot of very thought provoking shows. One individual makes not a civilization. It’s easy to point out the flaws in any individuals logic. Defending oneself against the irrational is a whole different issue. Reason & logic are the fundamentals of thinking which lead to any civilization.

I think my favorite line of hers may very well have been, “we don’t need algebra, since we have all this technology...” Where exactly, does she imagine that the technology came from? Does the “Technology Unicorn” fly down from the rainbow mountain, farting out the newest version of the iPhone?
Ask her, the next time it’s time for her to charge her phone, how far she’d get in converting AC to DC voltages without Algebra. Or given that Algebra is the base of most mathematics, how much farther she’d manage to get past subsistence farming, before she starves to death?
