This looks to be a short but fairly hefty line of severe thunderstorm activity, headed E towards southern portions of MO and will impact cities quickly to the east of the storm line into Springfield. Hope this helps out, I'd go ahead and make preparations to shelter and bring your pets indoors.

Got some rain last night in Denver. Looks like western slope is getting much need rain. Glenwood canyon open after wild fires but now concerns about mudslides.
My friend just east of Deridder La says his house is fine. He has a whole house generator but said his AC is acting up, no water pressure, and possibly 30 days without power.

25 miles east of Springfield here. Only an inch of rain since June. We will be grateful for the rain.

Severe thunderstorm warnings just east of Springfield, no tornado warnings but tornadoes can spin up with little or no warning, so the best ‘warning’ you’ve got a lot of times are your eyes on the skies, your nose to the wind and knowing how to interpret radar imagery. 11:43 AM CST.

Prayers up for your friend east of Deridder LA that everything gets fixed and he’ll be up and running quicker than a fox! Amen!
