Yup they’re both phonies. They need to just go away. I don’t want to hear their after the damage Christian speak.
I went to church for years, the following happened in the very churches I attended. This is just the stuff I knew about:
Pastor affair with choir director (both male)
2 teenage girls sexually assaulted by youth director
Teenage boy sexually assaulted by a different youth director
Missionaries recalled because of sex scandal in Bolivia
Woman I was starting to date slept with the married pastor (I dumped her quick)
These Falwells need to disappear from public life and shut the hell up
I had a buddy who was a cop in San Francisco. He said the biggest freaks in the city were the rich folks living in Pacific Heights. He dreaded getting domestic calls in that area.

Were the youth people same sex or not? Just curious. I think most abuse is actually heterosexual but definitely have to watch out for homos.
I haven’t been very good about going to church. But the bit I did, I was never aware of ANY problems like that at all. Oh I sometimes had problems with pastor personality, or direction of the church, but not blatant immoralities.
I HAVE wondered about a very nice couple at our last church. They were very active. But I have to say, they both seemed homo. Which I actually applaud if they were trying to defeat any abnormal proclivities.
