As a break from Russian history i read a book on Texas City explosion in 1947.
That Texas City explosion was a humdinger. My parents were living in Pasadena and the windows shook and it scared my mom to death. She knew something bad had happened and it sure had but she didn’t realize it was over 50 miles away.......terrible
