Yes it matters but if she hit every branch of the ugly tree falling down = no deal. Sharon Stone is 100% truth.

Yep. I had a list; top of the list -— Christian. Appearance and money were WAY down on the list. It so happens, my husband is very handsome, and that DID catch my eye, but I would not have wasted more than one or two dates on him, if he had not had many other, finer qualities. I’ve seen a lot of handsome men who wouldn’t have appealed to me at all.

Actually, what matters most of all is serving God while still alive here on earth.

Hollywood lifers like Sharon Stone often never realize this until it’s too late.

But for the rest of us, it is important to know that one cannot serve what one does not love, and furthermore, that one cannot love what one does not know. On the other hand, to truly know God IS to love Him, and to love God IS to desire nothing other than to serve him for the rest of one’s life.

It is impossible to allow one’s imagination to run too much rampant when considering the guesome price to be paid, ultimately, by one who lolls about in sloth and laziness, foolishly allowing himself to remain ignorant about what mankind has already been given to know, through unmerited grace, about the infinitely complex mind of God, and of his glorious ways.

So one must apply oneself diligently to developing a broad and comprehensive understanding of the One True Faith, given to us by God himself, and forming their adult conscience in the manner in which God intends. During this process, it is important not be thrown off by doubts that may crop up regarding some of the things one is reading or being told about. New Testament accounts of the miracles performed by the self-declared Son of Man can be particularly hard for novices to believe, at least at first. If one hasn’t been warned in advance, one could easily commit the fatal mistake of permanently writing these accounts off in one’s mind as exaggerations or myths. While unresolved doubts may slow the learning process down from time to time, one must never succumb to the temptation to abandon it due to the mental strain involved. Instead, one should be all the more determined to see it through to completion. Why? Because sure as you’re born, just as one is rounding out the process of mastering the broad strokes and crucial details of what it means to be a full-fledged adult member of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church, and thereby giving yourself the gift of a properly formed conscience that can’t be led astray by James Martin, S.J. and other lightweights of his ilk, such doubts have a remarkable tendency to fall away of their own accord. Like detritus. Or dead skin cells.

The human intellect is frail and vulnerable by its very nature. If the human intellect is not buttressed and protected by God’s grace against the vastly superior intellects of Satan and the rest of the one-third of the angels (all of whom foolishly cried Non Serviam!), but instead is allowed to suffer the kind of damage that has long been known to accumulate from one unrefereed scrape after another with the demented and illogical mind of the secular world, it will rapidly begin to darken. As mentioned above, a severely darkened adult intellect is a natural and perversely nurturing home to soul-rending doubts about biblical scripture, uniformly recognized by every Holy Saint and Doctor of the Church as the inspired and inerrant Word of God.

If one sets out to learn well the mind of God and all his ways, one will inevitably learn what it means to love and serve God as HE would have us love and serve Him. At that point, the ways of the world, appearing foolish and preposterous by comparison, will hold little to no attraction, and one will gladly embark upon the “narrow path” that leads to salvation. In the meantime, one has the raw materials one needs to grow appreciably in humility and holiness, year after year while still an earth-bound member of the Church Militant.

Perhaps one of Sharon Stone’s people can gently suggest to her that her habit of dwelling on the fickle opinions of beholders who, like she, are merely human, might no longer be supplying the bang she may want or think she needs for her self-referential buck. Instead, she might want to start considering how she looks, or may ultimately look, in the eyes of God, and adjust her approach accordingly.
