It is a remarkable video, made possible by a clearly massive budget. Helicopter fly-bys of Slash's solo outside the church, top-notch cinematographer and costume design, etc.

Right, that was back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth and you had these big videos for the big bands. Another one that comes to mind is Bon Jovi’s “Blaze of Glory” with the helicopter shots out on the mesas. The abandoned drive-in movie theater sitting atop the mesa was a nice touch.
