The only .380 practice ammunition I can find right now is from Freedom Munitions and costs 97 CENTS A ROUND.

I stocked up after the last .380 shortage in 2008, but training is now over as I'm down to my last couple hundred rounds.

Update: Freedom Munitions is sold out, and the only .380 practice ammunition on Ammoseek right now is going for $1.15 A ROUND.

That's more than I normally pay for my defensive ammunition!

I have noticed the same thing on 9MM. On-line suppliers have been listing standard ball ammo for $60/box of 50, but most are out of stock even if you were willing to pay that price.

I did see a fair amount available from $28 to $35 at a local gun show this last weekend, but who knows how long that will continue.

Just held my nose and bought 1,000 RDS 9mm fmj $0.50 ea. Yeah, crazy expensive but it’s there. I think it will be even more expensive for 5 months. Till inauguration day + a month.
