free people discriminate every day, with every decision.
well lets get all the rape laws off the books then
and all the ugly people start dancing
Choosing one tooth paste over another is discrimination.
The right’s favorite drug addled psychopath.
Only a matter of time before homosexual coupling becomes mandatory.
Walter Williams used to do a really good bit built around this same idea of all the discrimination he did in picking a wife, and how unfair it was to all other women. I know he did it on Rush a very long time ago. Wish I had that.
I neither know who this person is nor the context of what he said (not interested in watching the video), but he’s absolutely correct, from a grammatical standpoint. The word has been twisted to automatically mean wrongful discrimination, but all it actually means is choosing one thing over another. We discriminate when we brush our teeth with toothpaste instead of hair gel. Airports discriminate when they hire English speakers as air traffic controllers.
HAHAHAHA!. I’ve said for over a decade that discrimination is amoral. It’s like eating. It’s necessary. But if you are killing and eating your friends, that’s probably a bad thing.
When I choose a job, a house, a carpenter, a wife, a car salesman, you name it, I’m discriminating. And I should.
No wonder Democrats want to get rid of elections - every one of them forces you to engage in discrimination.
And what’s wrong with being DICRIMINATING when we decide WHO we want to make friends or be partners with?
This dude is crazy.
In Brave New World it was a bad thing to decline someone’s sexual advances.
Stupid idiot. All animals choose. Why not humans?
