News from ND. ND right to life and Rep. Cramer’s old lady are endorsing the pro-life rat nominee for State Treasurer cause GOP nom is not pro-life.
I’m not sure what State Treasurer has to do with abortion but I do know a rat would use that office as steeping stone to a viable candidacy for higher office (in addition to effing over taxpayers if at all possible) so this is a retarded move.

Yeah, saw that. The primary for state Treasurer was close (52-47%). Thomas Beadle was endorsed by the Governor in the primary, but he’s one of the most liberal RINOs in the ND House, scored a 50% from the ACU for 2019. Pres. Trump and Sen. Cramer endorsed Daniel Johnston, a former one-term ND House member who got a 97% Conservative rating (he apparently didn’t run for a second term in 2018).
No way to tell how left-leaning the Dem is, as he didn’t serve in the legislature. But he is the state party treasurer, and they don’t exactly let non-leftists serve in executive capacities anymore.
I don’t care for either candidate and would probably write in the name of the retiring incumbent.
