Egg consumption does not raise cholesterol by itself. Old info. I do not work for the Egg Council.

That was so debunked, that even the FDA (or whoever does diet recommendations in DC) actually REMOVED their references to limiting the amount of eggs.
Our ‘experts’ had made an ASSUMPTION about eggs and didn’t bother to see if it was right. They just ‘assumed’ that if a food, like eggs, had a lot of cholesterol - it magically went from your stomach to your blood. It was later proved to NOT be the case.
Same for fat. Dietary fat DOES NOT automatically become body fat. But carbs, yep, they do become body fat.
Eggs are a super food. So is liver but you don’t want to eat too much because you can risk Vitamin A toxicity.
I had the worst liver and onions a couple of weeks ago. I guess they cook doesn’t get many orders for it and didn’t know how to cook it either. I got two huge pieces of liver(the package I guess) with onions on the side that looked like they were cooked in the microwave. I eat liver once every few years at most.
I eat two med/large eggs some mornings. My hens are running around the yard right now. Nice dark yellow yolks - extra omega 3 with free range birds and their feed is non medicated.
Atherosclerosis runs in the family and I’m over 50 so I’ve been improving my diet. I put turmeric and garlic on most everything. Never been one to eat fatty foods. Eating salad most everyday with balsamic vinaigrette.
If eggs were bad for you, I would be dead.
I eat just under 2 dozen a week.
45 y/o male, excellent blood test results.
I read a few years ago that the egg contains an enzyme, Colene, which helps to break down the fat in the egg.
It truly is the "perfect" food.
