It does look a bit too big.
We have a 16-lb Savannah mix that seems huge to us, but vet is happy at checkups.
We have a female calico named Abigail who’s about seven and she probably weighs in the 15 lbs range. The kids tagged her as Largel and Miss Piglesworth for her girth. My daughter and a nephew over fed her for a long time. My wife has put her on a diet lol! I have a male Maine Coon who’s the same age and he’s a feather compared to Miss Piglesworth.
