Did anybody else out there see Showtime's "The Comey Rule" last night? I did. There is a lot to criticize but the thing that stood out for me (and also surprised me) was the fact that the show painted Carter Page as a possible Russian agent without any followup showing that he was a CIA asset on our side. Plus they had FBI agent Priestap calling him a "dope."
I saw both parts last night and this happened in Part I. Since I briefly dozed off while watching Part II (both parts available last night) I might have missed it but I did not see any clarification of Carter Page's status nor any reference of how his FISA warrant was changed to take out that he was a CIA asset.
Okay, so assuming there was no clarification in Part II (I only dozed off briefly) and saw nothing on the Web today indicating that they made the correction about Carter Page in Part II my question is: Does Carter Page have strong grounds for taking legal action against Showtime and the producers of "The Comey Rule?"
So, the Trump team was loaded with FBI, MI6 and CIA assets and everyone is O.K. With this.
They don’t care about Page either way, anymore. They are hoping their show will help undermine support for Trump during the upcomign election. That is why they timed it right before the election.
Personally, I don’t think it will change anybody’s minds. Mostly hard Leftists will watch the show and pretty much nobody else. It won’t have high ratings.
They show was LAUGHABLE. They played Trump as an over the top buffoonish Mafiosi type. The Comey character in the movie even compared Trump to Sammy the Bull. Ultimately the show was BORING.
I did see an ad on Saturday where ABC is promoting a new series based in Montana with outright smears of the people of that state. These libs think everywhere has California values.

Carter Page is a smirking POS. He was CIA and was right in the middle of everything. He is no victim. The FBI wanted to spy widely on the Trump campaign. They needed someone connected to Russia to justify this to the courts.
CIA sends Carter Page, Naval intel, Georgetown boy with massive Russian contacts to joint the Trump campaign. This gave the FBI the excuse that Trump was connected to Russia.
he joined the campaign in March 2016. By September intel officials were leaking that Page was connected to Russia.
What was supposed to happen is that Hillary would win, and Page would go back to Langley and to more lucrative globalist work.
While the FBI pretended they did not know he was CIA, does ANYONE believe Comey and Brennan were not coordinating?
As the Mueller investigation rolled on, Page kept smirking in every interview and acting like he had no idea why he was targeted...knowing all along he was CIA and sent there to give the FBI and excuse to spy on the entire Trump campaign. He stayed silent for years when knowing he was CIA would have killed the entire Mueller effort with a single statement.
Weissmann/Mueller interviewed him for a single afternoon and decided he did nothing wrong and let him skate away.
Everyone else remotely associated with Trump was getting SWAT raids and a rectal exam back to third grade. Page gets a pass after an afternoon.
Ask any doper what it means if the cops raid the house and everyone gets busted except for one guy.
Page is a CIA POS and is dirty as hell. He has managed to find an escape hatch, but he is an enemy of our side.
Page joins the Trump campaign in March, and in July, the month of the convention, he runs to Russia to give a speech. He makes sure to tell everyone what he’s doing. And he testifies to that...never mentioning that he is CIA and works for Brennan. His entire purpose was to taint Trump, the CIA/FBI plot sent him to the campaign for that very reason.

When I cancelled my 18 year netflix subscription a couple of months ago, it wasn’t only because of the “Cuties” movie.
I only watched a little. They paint Comey as a good guy, the Russia hoax as real and PapaD as getting Klinton dirt fro Moscow. That was enough for me. Turned it off.
