The one thing I would’ve watched but they screwed it up. Try again next season. Maybe. One knee from anyone and it’s all over.
It was one and done. For the last 2 months it’s been nothing but great hockey. Quite the testament to the players for being able to produce a great playoff without fans to feed off of. As a long-time Islanders fan it was great to see how far they got . . . and another slap in the face to Pajama Boy John Tavares, who left for what he thought was greener pastures, only to see his former team do far better without him while seeing his new team struggle.
Next season is scheduled for December 1st.
For the first time in more than 30 years I didn’t watch a single Stanley Cup playoff game.
