If only conservatives as a whole had a similar conviction to stay away from college and pro sports pushing the political BS. Alas, that isn’t the case, which doesn’t bode well should the DEMs steal the election for Biden.

Turning off the TV is easy. No courage required. Yet I know current and former cops and military folks that continue their obsession with the NBA and NFL. They just don't care.

Standing by your convictions by surrendering your livelihood is certainly brave, but how many people can afford to do that? I have to assume he knew he was about to be "cancelled" and figured he would leave on his own terms with his dignity intact. In the end, the left won. They purged another conservative from their ranks.

Americans are devoted to sports, especially pro sports. And the pro sports commissioners take advantage of that devotion. Pro sports leagues could put up a huge “Black Lives Matter” logo covering the entire TV screen (where you’d have to look between the bold logo letters to see the on-field action) and fans would still watch every game. I’m into pro sports too but this year, I haven’t watched any games and won’t watch any games until they totally cut that stuff out. If I have to wait five years for them to return to normal (non-political) sports telecasts, I’ll wait. I’m patient.
