Maybe - but the findings were that a 6 inch loaf of Subway's bread contains as much sugar as an Oreo cookie. That's pretty alarming for people trying to control their blood sugar, and it sounds like something Subway can and should fix.

Ding, ding, ding. WE HAVE A WINNER!

The basic purpose of government, whether here or there, is the extraction of money to pay for more government.

The Subway owner is trying to lower the price of his product to the public. He won’t make any more money by winning the lawsuit. He might, however, sell more product as it will look more attractive when compared with the competition. Or, perhaps burgers and other alternatives are not taxed because they are staple foods?
