Well damn, that’s rough to read. The world lost Neil Peart the day after my Dad passed, now we lose Eddie? This is turning into a terrible year.
"Turning into"? This year is sucking big green donkey ***ks! And we still have 2 1/2 months to go....
Kind of an interesting factoid....
The anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s death is two days after my birthday. Eddie left us two days after my dad’s birthday.
Also their deaths are just over 50 years apart.
That’s exactly what I was thinking! First, the tail end of impeachment, not enough; then Covid, still not enough; then rioting and looting in major cities, still not quite enough; the upcoming election, unsolicited ballots and fight over the Supreme Court nominee, even that isn’t good enough.
So 2020 says to itself, why not have another great musician die? Peart and Van Halen? Two! And 2020 is the year made of twos, so THAT’S IT!
