I remember it as a Windex commercial when I was a real little kid.

It is a song that tough not to like. It still sounds fresh which isn’t always the way with songs played relentlessly.
RIP.

I remember hearing his version of “Stir It Up” before Marley’s version.

RIP.
Great song.
I had a friend, growing up, who said her mom told her it was her mom and dad’s song....after having survived marriage problems.
I’ve always associated it with coming out of something bad, and having a great ending....for that sweet, little family.
I wonder how many countless troubled marriages, relationships, personal struggles have adopted this song.
It’s a By the Grace of God song.

I also liked his cover version of Sam Cooke’s Cupid. It was the B Side of Hold Me Tight. Then released later as the A Side but with Hold Me Tight on the flip.

One of my favorite artists and one of my favorite songs from way, way back.
May he rest in everlasting peace.
