The White House pounced on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s 25th Amendment talk Friday, hitting her for her own mental fitness for office and also suggesting she was trying to target Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Trump, who is recovering from coronavirus, took to Twitter immediately after Pelosi’s announcement that Congress is considering legislation on how to remove a president from office and accused her of actually targeting Biden should he win in November.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris,” Trump tweeted. “The Dems want that to happen fast because Sleepy Joe is out of it!!!”

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who is also infected, said it’s really Pelosi who is unfit for office. …

Perfect.

It is the only reasonable conclusion since Pelosi said it wasn’t about Trump.

Even Nancy Pelosi thinks Joe is incapable.

BOL!!!

As Kamala said a month ago:

“A Harris Administration, together with Joe Biden...”

I think the new president appoints a new VP.

Yes, a president nominates a VP. it happened three times in the ‘60’s and ‘70s. But the issue is whether Biden steps down before January 20th. The rules change before and after the swearing in. We have never tried to see what they do before a president takes office. You could interpret the constitution to say that Nancy takes over. Or you could interpret it to say that Harris takes over. Either way, I am thinking they don’t want Jill to take over, or some swamp creature acting as Biden’s Chief of Staff.

Do you think Biden is aware of their ‘plan’?.......................

Joe is lucky to be aware of time to eat and to go the bathroom

Out here on what is left of the left coast with all the fires, the computer gremlins are rampant.

The gremlins often “post” my replies twice or not at all.

Rush opined my paraphrasing that: perhaps Biden is NOT in agreement with a possible plan for him to ‘retire’ quietly and this measure is to push him out of the presidency.

If I was Kamala, before I invoked that 25th amendment, I would vet and hire my own security in addition to the SS, because the rabid left which assassinates police officers is not above assassinating a prosecutor who sided with police officers.

You got to love how Trump can take the worst that the Democrats can through at him and turn it around on them.

Go Trump.

Actually, I think Biden knows he is not capable.
But he probably thinks if he surrounds himself with a good team, he can muddle through it for one term or at least a couple of years.
And if he does this, it keeps the federal heat off of his son and his former self dealing / kick backs / bribery issues.
And as long as he does what those around him tell him, Nancy will call off her dogs.

Weren’t there some questions about Kamala’s “natural born citizen” status? I remember that getting mentioned and then it dried up really fast in the news.

If both Biden and Harris win the election and are deemed ineligible, then Pelosi is President.

That may be but I saw Biden two days ago talking to a news camera saying Kamala will make a great president. I thought immediately that he is just a front for her to become president because she is even less electable than he is.

“Nancy won’t automatically become VP. She has to get Kamala to nominate her. And Kamala can nominate anybody.”

But if the Democrats hold the house, they would have to confirm the new VP. I think that is how it works.

Yes both houses have to confirm the new VP.

But Nancy doesn’t become acting VP while the VP spot is vacant. She would remain 3rd in line. She gets to step up as acting President if both the President and VP are incapacitated.
