I stopped listening to Michael Wiener when it was revealed that he made the maximum allowable contribution to Jerry Brown when he was running for Attorney General against a conservative Republican.
Oh yes...I remember a thread about that. A poster that was defending Savage’s endorsement of Jerry Brown argued we were all full of it and that Jerry Brown was no longer in the Democrat Party and was running as an independent - I posted a screen shot from the official California Dem Party website where was listed as the nominee. I don’t remember if that person came back to the thread after that to try to explain away his previous defenses of Savage supporting Brown.
