Get yourself a Merkur safety razor. It’ll last forever and you can buy 100 blades for $15. I bought a box of razors 5 years ago and I’ve got about 25 left.

Merkur blades work well for me; they are Solingen steel like the straight razor my grand dad used. Col. Conk has a nice selection of soaps, blades and DE safety razors.
