I remember being pretty young watching Dr. No on CED videodisc, seeing Ursula Andress coming out of the water, and thinking to myself “Woah, women are cool!” :-)
Lynda Carter was another that I’d just stare at when she was on :-). Erin Gray in Buck Rogers was another.
~40 years later and the same thing *still* happens :-).

Wow! Nothing says “time marches on” more potently than when we are forced to see the great favorite ones exit the stage for the last time.
But his work will go on.
I just hope he had made his peace with God. In the end, that is all that matters.
Dead at 90.
We were watching his Dr. No flic just last night. The original is the best. This role was certainly made for Connery.
RIP, Sir.
Thought he did a great job in 1992’s ‘Medicine Man.’ His co-star Lorraine Bracco really showed how to dress for the jungle.
Second film Bond to go. RIP
Connery passing has me feeling down in the dumps. He starred in some of my favorite movies of all time (From Russia with Love, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October).
I remember thinking to myself “How in the hell is he going to pull that role off” when I learned he was going to play Marko Ramius. He shut me up! :-)
Farewell commander Bond ... you rest easy. Thanks for not being a part of the slime that has infected Hollywood.
I’m quite familiar with that one. I agree. Forgettable. However, I’ve been looking for it on streaming sources and have yet to find it. Honestly, I suspect that, other than the quality of the sp3ecial effects, it’s got a better story than the latest Star Wars movies. But I could be wrong. Your exposure is more recent.
Best movie ever. RIP 007.
Ian Fleming was impressed enough that he wrote OHMSS and gave literary Bond a Scottish background.
I always loved his character in “Thd Great Train Robbery”
Goldfinger.
Just a little Man Talk. Wife hates that part.
Pretty good. He carried it. The old lady was good too. The Molly Maguires was a very underrated movie.

Once more with feeling.
Yeah it does date it. The actress (Margaret Nolan) he says it to just died recently as well.
The Molly Maguires was a very underrated movie.
Condolences to family and friends of Sean Connery. R.I.P., sir. Thanks.
love
Not meant as criticism to FReeper freedumb2003, but more as curious. I think that if the original poster had added the single word ‘connery’ or ‘bond’ instead of ‘seanconnery’ and ‘jamesbond’ to the “Keywords” it might have helped. Even after 20 years here, we are still learning! SMILE!
Meanwhile the James Bond series is teetering on death’s ned because of political correctness.
