Omg! May your brother rip, btw .
It was a woman. I came out of the office area and turned to the left down the aisle. There she was. It was halfway to the end of the building. I remained calm. Then, I continued to walk straight and looked down the next aisle. It was there. I walked further and looked to the left again. She was gone.
My fav Halloween movie has always been The Haunting, 1963, derived from Shirley Jacksons novel, The Haunting of Hill House.
A friend with weed is a friend indeed.
I used to do electrical for a company in Edmonton that looked after all the city contracts. We would delve into some creepy places.
I forget the name, but a mini city east side of the river, north of the hwy 16, had it’s own hospital and everything. It’s all abandoned and very creepy. Lights hanging, hospital was partially underground. I had to go in to find a panel somewhere and it was very creepy. I’m a Christian, so I know there’s only angels and demons, but one could tell some not so good things happened there.
... The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Stephen King’s ‘It”(The mini-series, NOT the movie)
Stephen King’s ‘The Stand”(The mini-series)
Stephen King’s ‘Salem’s Lot”(The first mini-series, NOT the second)
Yes, i just watched it, posting this during too break up my tension of fear as I did. I had heard breathing in my room after reading that book. I held my breath, finally could not any longer, and then it seemed to stop, so I let out my breathe in a light long sigh...and heard it then mimmick my sigh in the corner of the room in a loud long loud imitation of my sigh and my blood ran cold. Dont know what it was. Teen imagination? It was so long ago but I remember it vividly and the frozen fear that immobiiized me in my bed.
That book scared the heck out of me and then the movie come out and it was so well done, but it scared what minuscule parts of the heck were left.
I don’t celebrate the pagan occult pseudo-holliday called ‘Halloween’ so I don’t have a favorite halloween movie.
Halloween should be abolished IMO.
I have seen a ghost. Never believed before that. Absolutely convinced after.
Tell us about it :)
Shirley Jacksons novel, The Haunting of Hill House was one scary book.
I still get scared remembering some of the scarier passages.
It is still considered to be one of the best ghost stories ever written.
While not a Halloween movie, The Thing from Another World did the same thing to me. My parents took me to see it when I was 5. I remember hiding under the theater seat. Even years later it gave me chills. But ‘The Haunting’ is spectacularly good. The wallpaper would give me dreams...
“Arsenic and Old Lace”
Oh, yeah. Thats real.
I liked “The Night Stalker” movie and series with Darrin McGavin as the reporter digging into all these scary things.
If you encounter it again, tell the ghost to vote Trump and straight GOP ticket.
