I saw a ghost at a place I used to work at. My coworkers said there was a ghost when I first started working there. I didn’t believe them. When I was alone one day I saw the ghost.
I have the collector’s box set of George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, and watch it every Halloween season.
And, I saw my Brother standing in my house in my hallway for a split second the day we came home after his funeral.

Brooklyn 99 any Halloween
In my city, I have felt unease in my job as a security guard, in two places.
The John Brownlee building, in Edmonton. It is connected to the former remand centre and people have died. It has been confirmed to me that the building does have ghosts.
The old lieutenant governor mansion, that isn’t used anymore. It sits near our former provincial museum and it is also full of history.
No formal sighting, although I’m well aware that ghosts are not the spirits of the undead, but demons assigned to an area to inhabit.
My fav Halloween movie has always been The Haunting, 1963, derived from Shirley Jacksons novel, The Haunting of Hill House.

I don’t celebrate the pagan occult pseudo-holliday called ‘Halloween’ so I don’t have a favorite halloween movie.
Halloween should be abolished IMO.

Shirley Jacksons novel, The Haunting of Hill House was one scary book.
I still get scared remembering some of the scarier passages.
It is still considered to be one of the best ghost stories ever written.
