Marx’ father was a Rabbi. Was his father a Kabbalist? I don’t know. But if so, it might have something to do with those who claim his son was a satanist.

On the other hand, I have heard that his father was against the satanic direction he was headed down.

Marx’s grandfather was the rabbi, and the chief rabbi of Trier, his birthplace.

Marx’s father had converted from Judaism to Lutheranism.

When Marx himself went to university, he was part of the clique that admired Hegel, particularly the theory of dialectics.
