I’ve had the regular ‘flu shot a couple of times. Once, I had no side effects. The other time I felt sort of lousy for a while; but given all of my ‘issues’ there was no way of telling if it was the result of the shot, or just Winter and the usual stuff that I suffer from intermittently.
I talked to my doc the other day. He said that from what he has learned, he is hopeful about these vaccines; but that if he concludes something different, he’ll let me know.
Find a good doctor who stays carefully on top of the literature, and follow his advice.
Well, considering my age, I will certainly take the vaccine. I’m quite tired of worrying every time I go out in public or with extended family about contracting covid and being the unlucky person who gets really sick from it. Ben Carson is barely older than I am and seems pretty sure he would have died if not for the antibody cocktail that Trump helped him receive. I have no confidence that I, not being a famous person, would be able to get that same antibody cocktail.

Early on, I talked with my wife’s doctor about the Wuhan.
I knew more about it then he did, thanks to FR.
At this stage of the game, who knows what Fauci and friends are feeding to the doctors. I am in Oregon, the governor is not allowing HCQ or anything else that seems to work in other parts of the world.
Don’t get me started on docs.
We’ve had ours for years. Like and trust them all.
But during this mess, we have rarely been able to get a straight answer out of people who have never BS’ed us in the past.
We’ll get their advice, but I don’t that we’ll follow it this time.
Our relationships with our docs are another casualty of this crap.
I have Covid now. That will be my vaccine.
