My first vanity in all the years I've been a member of FR.
Yesterday I took down my Trump flag. It was worn out with only the TR remaining. In it's place I put up AN APPEAL TO HEAVEN flag.
For those not familiar, the Appeal to Heaven flag was commissioned by George Washington just prior to the Revolutionary War for the six ships that made up the American navy.
The tree on the flag represented opposition to the British prohibition of American citizens cutting down the old growth forest on their lands. The British wanted these trees for use as masts on their own ships.
The flag was used throughout the War and was an acknowledgement that the fledgling American forces were outnumbered and out supplied and that it would only be by God's favor and grace that they would likely win independence.
So, I am appealing to heaven that in this election God will again have mercy and grant grace and favor on our country and that corruption in this election will be thwarted and His will be done.

The ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag is my go-to flag when it’s not a national holiday. I like the motto, and what the flag represents.
I suppose that when liberal sees it flying in my front yard, he thinks I belong to the Sierra Club, or something like that.

I like this! We still have our Trump flags up, but I think will be adding our “Come and Take It” flag soon. Might also throw your Appeal to Heaven flag up for good measure!
The Come and Take It flag has an interesting story, too. It shows the cannon that the Mexicans unsuccessfully attempted to take from the Colony of Gonzales during the early parts of the Texas Revolution.

I am well acquainted with the Come and Take It flag being a Texan with a love for American history.
I stopped flying my American flag when the “gay marriage” decision came out from the U.S. Supreme Court. Some of the local churches advocated starting to fly that flag given what was going on.
I now only fly an Appeal to Heaven flag. The last time I did so was on election day.

PREDICTION: Somehow this flag will be branded as racist
When Obama was elected the second time, I took down my American flag and it didn’t fly again until the early morning of President Trumps election.
