I would really like to meet the people who want to live on this planet for forever.
Are their lives so wonderful that they want to keep spending every day the same way?
I don’t think that there really are a lot of people who want every day to be the same as today and to have that go on for forever.
I do think that there are a lot of people who are afraid of dying and death.
What will they miss out on?
What if there really is a hell?
Fear.
I see the article as not so much folks wanting to live forever, but to live better while here. And if it adds some more years with healthy bodies then meh, sure, why not? In the old days folks lived into the hundreds because their dna was more pure, not as many mutations to cause diseases. It’s not so much the fear of dying but rather the desire to live stronger while alive I think
Nobody said a damned thing about wanting to live forever.
I will say that my deteriorating vision is one of the things making me want to DIE RIGHT NOW. Go act like you’re above it all somewhere else.
