I have no idea what you, personally, are going to do — although I have my doubts that it will be particularly well thought out.

I did lay out what is almost certain to happen in the next 6 months or so relative to FNC and their ratings.

This is going to happen irrespective of what you insist you, individually, are or are not going to do.

I think the real value of FNC is to spread the word to swing voters. I mean, if you’re posting on FR, your mind (if you haven’t already lost it in the past six weeks, and Lord knows we’ve got our share of those) is already made up.

They’re the only alternative to broadcast network news and cable network news — the only alternative with the carriage to make a difference.

like it or not, we’re better off in the long run with FNC.

The dustbin of corporate history is littered with companies whose officers had such a responsibility but nevertheless ran their firm into the ground and then down the porcelain facility.

I would agree if this was 2000 or 2008, but people have harden their positions dramatically since Obama. We used to have roughly a 42% RAT and 42% GOPe population. Elections were all about the remaining 16% of uncommitted voters. We are talking likely voters.

Today I believe you are looking at closer to 48% left of center and 48% right of center with 4% uncommitted. That 4% does not really follow politics but votes. Many are legacy voters, who have always voted like their parents for a specific party. Others are just not well versed on politics.

FNC is preaching to the 48% that are already right of center. They had a good gig going with CNN and MSDNC fighting over the 48% left of center.

Problem is they took it for granted we need them. That was a big mistake. Wallace and Baier thought they could preach to us. They let their guard down and showed us the real depth of their disdain towards us.

I was staying in a guest house in a foreign country. It was late and I wanted a cup of coffee. I headed for the kitchen not wanting to be pretentious and ask a maid to get the coffee. Goats Rule #10, never go into the kitchen in a third world country because you will never eat at that guest house again. Once we saw the disdain Wallace had for us, not just for Trump, it was like going in that kitchen. I could never view FNC as anything other then sickening again. They are actors who call themselves pundits. They led us around by our nose for years and I am done with it. They need to know our level of disdain for them.

Today, FNC needs to keep whomever they can and get part of the 4% to watch. Their days of a monopoly on the right of center people is over. It needs to be a lesson across this country. Attack us, call us deplorable or f#@kers and you will pay. Attack our values and we will devalue you. FNC needs to be the first to be devalued.

I so appreciate your criticism of my mental capacity. I always appreciate when mental giants take the time to provide me with insight as to my ability to think critically.

As for FNC they will lose a percentage of their former permanent viewers. Some will go back out of sheer mental laziness and a desire to be illuminated by frauds. Others, I believe a large number, will not return if they lose 33% of their viewers from last year, that will hurt them. GOPe and RINOS/CINOS have already gone back.

I wasn’t replying to you, mr mental giant. I was replying to a distemperate rant that started off with the sentence, “you’re so pathetic”.

unnecessary. anyway, we’ll know who was right about FNC in six months or so.

we should return to this thread then, and throw some more rocks at each other.

I am hopeful you are wrong, but your skepticism is not misplaced.

People do not understand how powerful 73 million legitimate voters are as power brokers and an economic bloc.

I have not turned on Fox since election night. I rarely watch any news these days. If I do turn on the news, I watch NewsMax.

I’ll bet Perino’s numbers aren’t so bad, because she didn’t have much of an audience to begin with.
