When I was a flight attendant, the one big NO NO was ‘DO NOT POP A SLIDE’.

Those things are about $25k+ to repack.

That is quite a blanket statement you made.

If a jetliner has crashed and in danger of catching on fire...the crew should focus entirely on passenger safety and not how much it costs to repack an inflatable emergency slide.
