Looking for a range bag on Amazon and noted that they don't list the country of origin. Really trying to make an effort to buy American and don't want to be funding our enemy.
I would encourage others using Amazon to ask before purchasing and if anyone has the name of an American made range bag, it would be greatly appreciated.
I encourage others not to use Amazon
I would like them better if they had a country of origin in their listings but before I purchase, I’ve started asking where an item was made.
“I would encourage others using Amazon...”
Country of origin is a common question in the “Have a question?” section for each product.
Is the phrase “Made in America” on a product generally believable?
It should be the law that place of origin has to be clearly disclosed on everything sold online. This would go far to voluntarily reducing trade with China
When I see comments on Amazon of people claiming that their Magpul item came from China, I know that there are counterfeits being sold there. I never buy anything firearm related from Amazon for that reason.
Amazon = China. It’s the retail outlet for the CCP.
buy elsewhere. amazon is anti american.
FWIW, There’s a browser plug in that will identify Country of origin on Amazon.
Can’t recall the name.
By advised, some products may suggest USA as the corporate seller, but the product itself could still be made elsewhere.
Lots of stuff on Amazon are chinese knockoffs of American goods. Whenever possible, I buy American-made stuff, particularly 2A gear, from other retailers.
When I’ve used Amazon and checked the ‘questions’ area of the reviews, inquiries as to where the item was made is often among the first questions.
A lot of American small businesses sell there, too; and I’ve bought numerous items from parts of Europe and India.
made in USA
—
used to be that label on many items years ago, but no one could figure out where, then some one looked at a map of South Korea and there it was: the Korean town of USA.
I had never even heard the term “range bag”, but I did a search:

I’ve noticed a lot of “imported” origins of late. Not touching anything I dont know where it came from.
One option is using Overstock.com.
Another is using 2ndvote.com to find vendors who share your values and are located in the United States.
For range bags, I’d say Lynx Defense.

In the search box, I add made in USA to the item I’m looking for.
Yes... you have to look at the fine print, but country of origin should be posted. If it’s a CCP product, I ask myself if this is something I really need. Same goes for Harbor Freight and others.
