I installed Gab yesterday but today it is slow. Another Freeper mentioned it being as slow as a 3-legged turtle. Seems that the turtle lost another leg. I have hope that they will get their servers beefed up to meet the rush.

I joined Gab yesterday but still haven’t received the confirmation email. My wife set up an account earlier today and got the confirmation email. I plan to delete Twitter once I have Gab confirmed.
I’m getting “We’re sorry, but something went wrong on our end.”

Everyone says; They’re private companies and can do what they want. Build your own. Evidently, it’s not that easy. Parler got slammed and slow, then kicked off of AWS. Gab’s getting slammed and won’t work. MeWe and CloutHub are both slow as molasses today.
Gab is hosted on its on servers. This protects it from being de-hosted like Parler. The downside is that it doesn’t have the same flexibility to immediately add capacity to keep up with greater traffic.
