EXC: Biden Personnel Chief Served At Chinese Intel Org Flagged By FBI For Recruiting Western Spies

While at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation, Zimmerman also served as a fellow at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, flagged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for its close ties to the Chinese Communist Party’s top spy agency, the Ministry of State Security.

The Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), which the FBI views as a “front group for Chinese intelligence collection and overseas spy recruitment,” was involved in a 2019 criminal case involving a retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative selling classified U.S. defense documents to China.

The operative, Kevin Mallory, was contacted by a SASS official via LinkedIn to begin the relationship that culminated in a 20-year prison sentence for Mallory.

The FBI has described the Chinese Communist Party as relying on SASS employees as “spotters and assessors” of potential Western spies. Ministry of State Security officers – described by the FBI as keen on “influencing the foreign policy of other countries” – have also “used SASS affiliation as cover identities,” according to the FBI.

Every major Democrat president since JFK has had some communist operatives on their personal staff, on important govt committees, or as on the White House/Congressional staff. A few examples, from memory, will make my point.

Barack Obama: Frank Marshall Davis, CPUSA, some influence; David Simon Canter, CPUSA/Soviet assert re being an importer of Soviet propaganda materials (as well as legit literature) in Chicago, along with his CPUSA veterans operative Leroy Wolins; JOHN KERRY, the turncoat on Vietnam, supporter of the Sandinista Marxists in Nicaragua thru Frank Farelli, Tony Avirgan and the fake Pa Penca bombing affair, and contacts with such “Marxist Liberation” support groups such as WOLA, COHA, EPICA, etc. Recently a top promoter of surrendering our defenses against Iranian subversion and terrorism.

Extending the story back before JFK: Edward House opened the door way to Soviet influence way back under Wilson, who also appointed Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis, a supporter of the Bolsheviks in contact with Soviet agent Santeri Nuorteva. . .

Skipping ahead to FDR, Brandeis and his front man Felix Frankfurter staffed a bunch of agents of influence from Harvard Law School and to a lesser extent Yale into the FDR administration. These included Dean Acheson, whose influence would linger into the Truman administration, when he adopted the guise of a Cold Warrior; and John McCloy, who helped Acheson run a shadow government in the Eisenhower administration, encouraging Eisenhower’s tendency to hate McCarthy and minimize security risks such as Robert Oppenheimer. Publicly, Eisenhower attacked McCarthy for suggesting the Army had been penetrated by Communists, but privately, he quietly made some personnel changes based on what McCarthy had found.

When JFK came into office, he called on the Democratic elite to advise him on who to staff his administration, and predictably, they pointed him towards people like Acheson, Acheson’s henchman Dean Rusk, McCloy, McCloy’s FDR War Department colleague Robert Lovett, etc. Some of these were Fabian Socialist types, others were further left. Rusk, the architect of the Bay of Pigs failure, wanted to get Alger Hiss and Owen Lattimore reinstated at State, along with other leftists like Walt Rostow, triggering resistance from State Department security investigator Otto Otepka. Rusk sicced Robert Kennedy on Otepka, and Kennedy’s Get Hoffa Squad hounded him out of office. Robert, increasingly blind to threats from the left, proceeded to join the antiwar movement and cozy up to Cesar Chavez. Robert helped undermine LBJ’s Vietnam policy through a faction of the State Department which included Averell Harriman, George Ball, Roger Hilsman, Mike Forrestal.

Ted Kennedy, patron of the young John Kerry, moved even farther left than Robert and became an outright Soviet tool, along with his buddies like John Tunney; and Kennedy palled around with his waitress-friendly friend Chris Dodd, also Biden’s good friend, who got a donation from Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 and shared a plane with Biden during the 2008 campaign even though they were running against each other—to save money, supposedly. . .

Understandably, you didn’t mention the forgettable Jimmy Carter among major Democrat presidents, but his failures are perhaps more noteworthy than his achievements. Carter was originally intended to be installed as a front man for globalist David Rockefeller, whose brother Nelson had been seeking the Presidency since the Truman administration; but he and Cyrus Vance—who objected to what he called “visceral anti-Sovietism”—parted ways with the Rockefellers by handing Iran over to the Soviets, which was not part of the oil companies’ game plan. Nelson for decades had aspired to reorganize the agencies of the U.S. government on a corporate model—to be run by the Rockefellers, naturally. Truman and Eisenhower were smart enough to recognize Nelson’s ambition and keep him at a safe distance, but Nixon had to cut a deal with Nelson to win over the RINO wing of the GOP during the 1968 campaign, giving Nelson a foot in the door which he leveraged to the Vice Presidency—and almost more except a gun pointed at Gerald Ford misfired at point-blank range.. . .But Ford survived, giving us Jimmuh. For Commie influence under Carter, we need look no further than Jimmuh’s VP Walter Mondale, who had attained the Senate with support from Soviet agent Leo Szilard, and was named as a Soviet contact in a 1970 FBI memo, along with others such as Senator Kennedy and Senator Fulbright, Fulbright under surveillance by the LBJ administration for some years due to his contacts with the Soviet embassy. Carter’s administration courted the antiwar movement through lobbyists like Jane Fonda’s Soviet-trained husband Tom Hayden, and his Latin America policy was advised by lobbyists from the Institute for Policy Studies, a key channel of Soviet and Cuban influence. Meanwhile, when the Carter administration wasn’t selling us to the Soviets, Carter’s brother was selling us to Libya, an ally of Occidental Petroleum, associated with long-time Soviet financier Armand Hammer, ally of Al Gore’s father; while Carter’s Georgia friend Bert Lance helped the Saudis gain influence through BCCI, with an assist from powerful Democrat lobbyists like Clark Clifford and RINO lobbyists like Henry Kissinger, whose firm also set the stage for the selling of America to first Japanese and then Chinese interests—the Chinese didn’t necessarily need communist sympathizers to gain influence, just corrupt capitalists.

Carter’s stagflated administration left a mess to the Reagan administration, which was almost short-lived when Reagan was shot about a month before the Soviets tried to kill John Paul II. Apart from Nixon-Ford administration Rockefeller/Kissinger legacies like Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld, Reagan’s administration included a few holdovers from the old Acheson circle, such as Paul Nitze, ostensibly now a Cold Warrior. Nitze had started his government career back in World War II working for Nelson Rockefeller, and had helped Acheson, McCloy, and Christian Herter offset John Foster Dulles’s influence on the Eisenhower administration. Nitze’s biography would eventually be written by Strobe Talbott, who had been Bill Clinton’s roommate when Clinton went to Moscow and had gone to Moscow before him; at the time he was living with Clinton, Talbott was helping KGB talent spotter Victor Louis translate the memoirs of Nikita Khrushchev, while their other roommate Frank Aller was doing similar work on the unpublished notes of Edgar Snow, an old associate of FDR/Truman-era Chicom ally Owen Lattimore. Nitze and Lattimore had been named together as persons of interest in a 1950 FBI report on alleged Japanese Communist infiltration of the Strategic Bombing Survey, along with John Kenneth Galbraith, George Ball, and Rensis Likert, who were interviewed by the FBI in connection with this investigation, results inconclusive—I mention this FWIW.

Continuing past Bush’s blind eye towards Tiananmen Square to Clinton, you’ve already hit some highlights, but for good measure I’ll again mention Gore’s association with Hammer, and add the names Morton Halperin, Harold M. Ickes, and Johnetta Cole, among others; and of course, we have John Deutsch’s laptop and Sandy Berger’s pants, the ancestors of Hillary and Hunter’s laptops. Clinton holdovers in the intelligence community were never purged by Bush, and joined forces with John Kerry in 2004 and Obama in 2008, as did Colin Powell & Co. To your list for Obama, which could be lengthened considerably of course, I’ll simply add Valerie Jarrett and Eric Holder.

And now on Biden’s team we have Kamala Harris. The Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism teamed up with the Freedom Road Socialist Organization/Liberation Road this summer and discussed plans to take over the Democratic Party through Bernie Sanders, AOC and the Squad, etc. Pelosi just appointed Squad members to some committees, so this looks like a done deal.
