Today, the White House is publishing the recently declassified United States Strategic Framework for the Indo-Pacific. For the last 3 years, this document has provided overarching strategic guidance for implementing the 2017 National Security Strategy within the world’s most populous and economically dynamic region. Approved in February 2018 for implementation across Executive Branch departments and agencies, the document is being released to communicate to the American people and to our allies and partners, the enduring commitment of the United States to keeping the Indo-Pacific region free and open long into the future.

Looks like Trump is trying to throw a monkey wrench into any efforts by Beijing Biden to collude with the ChiComs. At least, this lays open for the public a clear elucidation of why China is a threat, and how we are currently postured to oppose them. I thought that was why the Administration tightened official ties with Taiwan recently, too. To put Biden in the position of having to be seen as taking something that’s working away in order to cozy up to China.

It's not the product of an echo chamber. It's the first time I've seen a policy of this kind turn away from Liberal whipping post (Russia) and directly state China is a threat. This will make liberal heads explode.
