... such measures mostly inhibit voters of color and low-income voters from casting ballots.

The goal is to inhibit low-IQ voters from casting ballots. Producing ID is a very simple intelligence test. :)

The "voter ID card" is just a free ID for voting only. It exists in states with voter ID requirements as a guard against claims of suppression of minority voters.

Outside voting, it has no worth and is redundant if you already have a driver's license or state-issued ID card.

We should work on repealing motor-voter laws.

Such divisive language! A voter ID is free.

If they can't bother with the affirmative effort to get registered, request a ballot, and return the ballot (requires a stamp if by mail!), why are we suggesting they're sufficiently informed to freely cast a ballot without inducement or intimidation?

Democrats feed on exploiting a permanent underclass which is how it sees "people of color" and "low income."

What I was saying is the voter ID card should only be used for voting and nothing else.

I wouldn't wan to send a copy of my driver's license or any other form of ID through the mail.
