I’d go for Dallas. It would be for the hub factor. Amarillo, Midland, Lubbock is out in the boonies, comparatively speaking.
Right? I would hazard a guess that the poster has never been to Amarillo, Lubbock or Midland. If so, then they would know. Don’t move there.
In threads like this, I always repeat my advice. Kerrville Texas. In the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Great schools and great hospitals and an hour away from San Antonio or Austin.
Funny, my 1st thought was to stay away from Dallas, unless you’re okay with taking a gun with you when you visit.
Dallas has gone blue. We had issues due to the COVID restrictions. I would not recommend living or working in the city any longer.
Just be advised that the three largest hotbeds of Socialism in Texas are Houston, Austin and Dallas. San Antonio is right there as well.
