Exactly. My give a damn meter seems to be busted regarding morons who speed through construction zones.

I’m with you on that. These people actually do real work, rather than burning up downtowns, and there are some real d-heads that endanger and often kill them...so let those clowns learn their lesson.

Having said that, I do think there has to be level of accountability regarding the speed limits - so if you have a divider-separated work zone, you don’t get to set a speed limit of 35 MPH just for ‘revenue enhancement’ (a little Democrat lingo, by the way).

It would seem marked cars and uniformed police would be the best way to address that.

It is also not ok to drive for miles of cones without seeing a single worker. They often make work zones entirely too long.
