My Freeper sister from Longmont, who is the one who first told me about FR, was there with us that day. And my parents from Boulder - who were the first to tell me: "Turn on your TV at 10:30pm, channel 12 Denver - you've just GOT to hear this guy named Rush Limbaugh on his TV show!" ... they also came up.

Somewhere I have saved a clipping from the local city rag, with a photo of my sister. During the quick downpour that morning, we took our 4 & 2 year olds to shelter under an Old Town awning, while she still stood out there guarding our stroller. It was a very lightweight model, and she turned it upside down to hold it over her head to keep off the rain. A city newspaper photographer snapped the photo, and captioned it "Stroller Head". Sub-caption was, "a woman who identified herself as Leslie from Longmont takes shelter during a downpour". Heh heh! Stroller-Head.

Dang, I miss her!! Died of lung cancer that started out as endometrial cancer and moved to the lymph nodes and then the lungs and kidneys.
