We ate tuna sandwiches especially on Friday’s during Lent. Mom would make the “onion and celery tuna” and when she wanted a change.. the sweet dill pickle tuna sandwich. So good...
Tuna fridays during Lent ... a great tradition. Alternated with salmon patties. And we’re supposed to be fasting, yet enjoying these gifts.
Tuna melt with your salad on toast, with slice of tomato and swiss cheese broiled. One of my favorite things of Lent.
