All part of a plan, IMO.
Never FB or Twitter, don't store pics in the cloud.
Indeed it is....
....whatever has been found on ‘people of interest’ laptops will be conveniently explained away!
Finally, a world where Leftists can honestly reject anything they don’t like as fake news and where there’s no evidence against them ever.
This is a short excerpt from what looks to be a TED talk or similar on the subject. Well worth the 3m.

“Before long...”???
Biden is proof deepfakes are real.
The old adage is that you should not believe anything you read and only half of what you see.
This is becoming more of a reality then an adage.
Max Headroom lives.
In the series, Max Headroom is a computer-generated recreation of the memories of Network 23 news reporter Edison Carter. Carter runs around with a mini-cam doing daring live broadcasts in a kind of real-time investigative show.
In the pilot, Carter smashes his head on a “maximum headroom” warning sign while escaping some camera-shy subjects. His memory is downloaded by the requisite ’80s nerd in too-big glasses and is then accidentally uploaded onto the network’s computers.
All this was done back in the late 1980’s, before computer simulations were fully developed.
Best part is all actors will soon be superfluous.
Hollywood will be dead in 10 years.
Couldn’t happen to more deserving people.
So at what point will the government intervene, since they are the only ones with the power as well as the responsibility to respond to threats to our national security as well as ensuring that we have a reasonably stable society and marketplace?
That addresses one of the few complaints about the UE5 demo last year, that the quality of the character model was noticeably lagging compared to the environment. Of course, UE4 was already more or less capable of photorealistic environments. It was only logical that they’d turn their attention to character modeling next. Character creators have been around for a long time, some of them quite detailed, but this is taking it to another level. This is going to have a significant impact on gaming and likely animated/CGI movies and such as well.
Sorry but its still a hoot!
Back in the 1980s, the three networks just plain faked news scenes.
ABC faked a spy handing off documents as they had no footage to go with their news story.
CBS faked a watermelon blowing up when hit by an AK-47. The AK only punched holes in the melon so they had to use a special exploding bullet from a different firearm.
NBC, faked a truck wreck and made it burst into flames by having small lit flares so it would burst into flames.
I’ve never trusted anything from them since.
Just wait until the US Deep State and politicized intelligence agencies get a hold of that (if they haven’t already)
Americans will exist in a constant state of gas-lighting and agitation.
Deep fakes will be used as proof positive to frame the innocent, and simultaneously will be denied as evidence, all video being assumed fake and all, to spring the demoncraps.
Sure you do. You just don't know it. The picture on your drivers license? States sell them and your info. With a front and side shot, you could be placed at the murder scene. You don't want your family to see the porno film you're in (just made in the lab), how much you willing to pay? it's a blackmailers paradise.
