And it was just a few months ago that the former director of Israel’s space defense program claimed that aliens (ETs not border-jumpers) are in contact with the U.S. and Israel, and that then-President Donald Trump knew about it. Evidently some sort of Galactic Federation is waiting for mankind to reach a particular civilizational plateau before revealing themselves. Alas, we seem to be hurtling headlong in the wrong direction.

I generally consider ad hominem attacks to be a response given when the “attacker” cannot formulate a reasoned response. Clearly you are capable of a reasoned argument as the second paragraph of your response to my curiosity so aptly demonstrates, so why didn’t you respond to the OP with that rational argument rather than ridicule?

People reported seeing ‘airships’ with ‘beings’ in them back in the late 1800s.
Wasn’t there someone who witnessed a landed one where the ‘visitor’ was making pancakes outside the craft?

If these so-called aliens actually wanted to be quickly accepted in our world, all they would have to say upon deboarding is "take me to your Waffle House."
