I was a gun dealer for many years and ATF practice was to periodicaly try to entrap me, and other dealers, by offering obviously illegal transactions. Most of these were clumsily done and obvious. The proper answer is a simple refusal. Don't make a personal attack, or they may seek vengeance, and they are in a position to falsify evidence against you. There is no reason not to believe this was an FBI or BATFE agent attempting to entrap citizens, and, therefore, to post his entire number. This man is probably part of an operation calling every person offering guns on line, with the same story. (Out of state, felony record, straw purchase.) Enticing people to commit crimes is, of course, enticement (which is a crime) but they face no accountability whatsoever.
