I just moved to the Upstate from PA in October 2020. I hope the whole state is not turning purple politically.
South Carolina is steadily becoming purple like North Carolina. The Low Country, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill and even Greenville are tipping towards progressive thought. Even the Republicans in power love tax and spend. I know South Carolina is conservative say compared to Philly or Jersey, but in the 17 years I have been here the political changes are obvious.
