TECH PING: This is the second time that the update to Windows 10 has wiped out my passwords in BRAVE. What is going on?? Help? I cannot stop the updates and feel very trapped.

I was using ms from dos 1.1. It was label IBM PC dos but it was ms. After win 2000 I switched to Linux then to a iMac 🖥. If I need Linux or windoze for some reason, I run them in a Virtualbox on the 💻 book pro.

Apple’s hardware and software are very well done.

Ain't that the truth. I look at the dates when I did things in the past, and inevitably I think it was like 2 years ago but it was 5, or think it was 5 years ago but it was 2.

The scary ones are when I think it was at least 10 years ago but it was 2018.

I'm 69 and I can remember the party-line phone number in my parent's house from when I was 5 years old. But what I ate for dinner a week ago? The name of the person I spoke with at the agency two days ago? Not so much as a clue unless I wrote it down somewhere.

I'd vow to write everything down, but then I'd be spending all day in the Notes app on my phone....

I got most of my passwords off my phone. I need a tech person who is competent in this area.

Last time I lost my passwords I had a local tech guy come over to set up back up and help me move my emails. Neither worked.
