Even the WHO, who has every reason to tout the vaccine, is saying that the vaccine might not prevent (re)transmission. “ ‘we are not certain at this stage that the vaccine prevents transmission’, W.H.O. spokeswoman Margaret Harris told a news conference….”.
So, this vaccine only provides protection against symptoms – like dying, OK, I’ll give yah that. Good. But, even at its worst the WuhanFlu seems to be lethal only to a small %age of individuals with pre-existing morbid conditions. Aside a weird, very small number of individuals who died for inexplicable reasons it is no more deadly than a bad case of flu. I’ve had the flu and don’t minimize how miserable that it. But, aside some very weird variants it seldom kills. And, the WuhanFlu is not one of those variants. Nonetheless, it does provide some protection. Meaningless protection for those not in the at-risk group in my opinion. But, don’t most other vaccines to date provide protection against your becoming a sort of Typhoid Mary? Isn’t that society’s purpose of creating a vaccine – to protect others against YOU? To provide a technological way of accelerating herd immunity?
Lacking herd immunity --- uhh, what now? Well, either let it find its way to those who never contracted the disease and then not die when they do or; immunize every human on earth (i.e., if they can afford it). Wow. Jackpot for Pharma. And, until that time we continue with masks on everyone and lockdowns for all.
OK, call me cynical. At my age I have earned the right. But, I smell a rat.
Follow the money
Every year there is a new flu shot. It may or may not be effective, I don’t know, as I’ve never had the shot or the flu. Now the narrative is “new variants” and booster vaccines every year. It is fear porn. Nothing more. People want to wield power over society. They will if we allow it.
What a joke and people fall for it.

substitute “control tactic” for “virus” and you’ll have it right.

The virus will be around to some degree for at least the next 10,000 years. Somewhere, sometime, somebody will catch it. Just like the flu, the cold, or any other viral or bacterial infection.
I guess we should all just lie down in the street and wait to die.

I’ve long compared the vaccine to NyQuil for Covid. That seems to be what it is - not a vaccine, but cold medicine. Lessens the symptoms and shortens duration.
Agree! I’m so tired of all of this. I don’t mask myself and have been turned away at some places. The question is, what do we do? A lot more people wear mask than not. Never would I have though it is still going on into year two. Sorry to say “they” are winning.
This whole covid thing is madness. I even saw the other day where they say you need to be vaccinated even if you already had covid! Can you believe that? Madness, absolute madness.
Early on, he stated he went through the Hydroxychloroquine treatment. Then he is diagnosed with COVID and goes into the hospital. A few days later, he comes out, looking and acting well.
So, what did they do to him in the hospital? Remember, this was before a vaccine. So, what did they treat him with? Of course, the media shut down all stories and questions on that, by why hasn't the "conservative" media pound that story?

Trump was given an experimental treatment by Regeneron.
But it IS effective. Against LAST year's flu strain. That is how they produce the flu shots.
You could say the same about ANY vaccine.

Worse than nothing, I think. Of the people I know who got it, the worst case was with the biggest mask proponent. Totally paranoid, always had one (or two) masks on, indoors and out. The only one I know who was actually hospitalized. Finally recovered, though.
He probably had a less severe infection (because of the hydroxychloroquine preventive) and the regeneron put him back on his feet immediately. Think how it would have been if the Dems had just allowed treatments and preventives to go ahead...but instead they said that Trump wanted Americans to drink fish tank cleaner...
But as I have said many times, this is the first disease for which nobody wanted a preventive, a treatment or a cure. The virus was too useful to the left, but at the same time, since it wasn’t very lethal, they could oppose treatments and use it to stir up fear and hysteria but not really take the big risk of killing half their voters.
The important thing was to get Trump.
